iPhone coming tomorrow!

The Apple iPhone is due to be released to the US public tomorrow (29 June 2007). The phone has possibly been one of the most hotly anticipated gadgets ever sold.

The iPhone has revolutionary new features, including visual voicemail, a ‘pinch’ screen for navigating mobile web pages on its multi-touch display screen, up to 8 hours talk time, and an MP3 player which integrates with Apple’s famous iTunes software.
Reviews of the phone have been glowing, and despite some initial doubts about the usability of the touchpad interface, it appears the iPhone has passed with flying colours. The only negative comments mentioned by some reviewers was the speed of its EDGE data connection – likened to the speed of a dial-up connection. Many have been confused as to why the iPhone does not have a 3G connection, given all of the other features it offers.

Apple’s CEO and creator of the iMac, iPod and iPhone, Steve Jobs is also said to be delivering a speech tomorrow, exclusively to Apple employees.
